Autrans 2008 : The meeting of the key-players of Internet

As every year, the key players of Internet are invited to Autrans to exchange, be informed, use the Internet of today and that of tomorrow, but most of all to network and start new projects or initiatives.

What are the changes at the brink of the 2.0 society?

The uses of Internet are in full change and increasing attention is being paid to the very users of Internet who are the designers’ of tomorrow’s society. It is this spirit of sharing and exchange that one can find at the Autrans events. There is no such thing as “listeners” and “those who know”, but more actors who each brings their contribution and are inspired by each other.

, work done through the use of online networks has radically changed our society and new services and uses are deeply changing many different sectors of activity.

For the 2008 edition, we suggest taking use the following question as guideline: what are the changes at the brink of the 2.0 society ?

These meetings will thus be an opportunity for all TIC** actors to reflect on the consequences of these changes by crossing view-points (land management, institutional, firms, university, various organisations...)

  • put forward initiatives in different domains which represent these changes and new methods so as to start the debate
  • Allow each and everyone a better knowledge of these new services so as to use them in new projects.

The Autrans meetings happen early in the year and are an opportunity for each Internet network to evaluate the past and the year’s actions, reunite their key-players so as to imagine the future and share experiences with the other networks.
